Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for Sale of the Estate of Richard Ball, in Little Appulby and Great Appulby, in the Counties of Derby and Leicester; and for laying out so much of the Money as will purchase another Estate of equal Value, to be settled to the same Uses; and the Residue in making Provision for Younger Children;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

A Report from the Lords Committees appointed to consider of a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable James Griffin Esquire to make Leases of Part of the Manor of Dingley, and Lands (fn. 1) there, for raising Money, to pay Debts, and Portions for his Younger Children," being offered to be made; and the House being informed, "That the Lady Essex Griffin desired to be heard to the said Bill:"

It is therefore ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be re-committed, to the same Committee as before; who are to meet on Monday next, at Ten a Clock.

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Friday the Ninth Day of February next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Biddulph's Bill.

Sir T. Cooke's Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for confirming a Lease heretofore made, of certain Messuages and Lands in Epsom, by Sir Joseph Sheldon and Sir James Edwards, and Humphry Beane, and agreed to be assigned to Sir Thomas Cooke Knight; and for enabling a Lease of other Lands adjoining to the same to be made to him."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the Lords Committees before-named; who are to meet at the same Time and Place.

Prinn versus Howe, in Error.

After hearing the Judges report the Precedents, relating to the Cause upon the Writ of Error wherein John Prinn is Plaintiff, and John Howe Esquire Defendant; as also the Counsel, at the Bar, for the Plaintiff in the Errors:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will proceed to hear the Defendant's Counsel To-morrow, at Twelve a Clock; and no other Business to intervene; and the Judges to attend (except the Lord Chief Justice of the Queen's Bench, who is excused); and that all the Lords be summoned then to attend, and acquainted with the Case for which they are summoned.
