NONCONFORMITY.

A group of Independents were meeting at a house in Haresfield in 1744, and it was probably members of the same community who registered a house there in 1784. An unidentified dissenting group registered a house in 1809. Another group which registered a house in 1823 and 1832, (fn. 35) was presumably one of two Methodist communities mentioned c. 1825. (fn. 36)
