Langley Inclosure Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for inclosing Lands in the Hamlet of Langley, in the Parish of Claverdon, in the County of Warwick."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to the Consideration of the Lords following:

Their Lordships, or any Five of them, to meet Tomorrow, at Ten o'Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings, near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Hatton, &c. Inclosure Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for inclosing Lands in the several Parishes of Hatton, Haseley and Wroxhall, in the County of Warwick."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to the Consideration of the Lords Committees aforenamed:

Their Lordships, or any Five of them, to meet on the same Day, at the same Place; and to adjourn as they please.

Isherwood's Estate Bill, Judges Report on Petition for further Provision:

The Report of the Judges to whom was referred the Petition of John Isherwood of Marple Hall, within Marple, in the County of Chester, Esquire, and others; praying their Lordships, "That Provision may be made for effecting the Purposes in the said Petition mentioned, in the Bill brought in upon the Petition presented by the Petitioners to their Lordships on the 29th of June last," was read.

Report referred to the Com ee.

Ordered, That the said Report be referred to the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting certain Parts of the Devised Estates of Thomas Bradshaw Isherwood Esquire, deceased, in Trustees, in Trust to be sold or demised for the Purposes therein mentioned," stands committed.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure.

Galway Elective Franchise, Petitions from Galway & Newtownsmith for Extension of.

Upon reading the Petition of the Protestant Magistrates of Galway, whose Names are thereunto subscribed:

And also, Upon reading the Petition of the Protestant Freemen and Inhabitants of the Parish of Newtownsmith, in the Town of Galway, whose Names are thereunto subscribed; severally praying, "That their Lordships will be graciously pleased to equalize Civil Rights in Galway, by extending to the Roman Catholic Mercantile and Trading Classes the Elective Franchise in as full and ample a Manner as the same is now enjoyed by Protestants:"

It is Ordered, That the said Petitions do lie on the Table.

E. of Mulgrave's Claim, M. of Bristol sworn on.

The Marquess of Bristol was sworn, at the Table, by The Lord Chancellor, in order to give Evidence before the Committee for Privileges, to whom the Petition of Constantine Henry Earl of Mulgrave in England and Baron Mulgrave in Ireland; praying, "That his Right to vote at the Elections of Peers for Ireland to sit in the Parliament of the United Kingdom may be admitted by their Lordships," stands referred.

Manchester & Sheffield Railway Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Viscount Morpeth and others;

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for making a Railway from Manchester, in the County Palatine of Lancaster, to Sheffield, in the West Riding of the County of York;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Wakefield & Austerlands Road Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Viscount Morpeth and others;

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for maintaining the Road from Wakefield to Austerlands, in the West Riding of the County of York;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Frodingham, &c. Inclosure & Drainage Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Viscount Morpeth and others;

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for inclosing, draining and warping Lands within the Townships of Hamlets of Frodingham, Scunthorpe, Bromby, and Gunhouse, (otherwise Gunnas,) all in the Parish of Frodingham, in the County of Lincoln;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Kirkby-in-Kendal Inclosure Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Viscount Morpeth and others;

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for inclosing Lands within the Townships or Divisions of Hugill, Applethwaite and Troutbeck, in the Parishes of Kirkby-inKendal and Windermere, in the County of Westmorland;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Glasgow Improvement Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Morrison and others;

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act to amend certain Acts passed in the Reign of His late Majesty King George the Fourth, for opening a Street from the Cross of Glasgow to Monteith Row;" to which they desire the Concurrencce of this House.

Langton's Act Amendment Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Langton and others;

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act to amend an Act for vesting and securing to John Stephen Langton Esquire certain Profits and Emoluments for a limited Time;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Crediton Road Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Lascelles and others;

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for making and maintaining a Turnpike Road from the South End of Mitford Bridge, in the Parish of Tedburn Saint Mary, to Chudleigh Bridge, and from Crockham Bridge to the Exeter Turnpike Road in Chudleigh, all in the County of Devon;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Aylesbury Road Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Lascelles and others;

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for more effectually repairing the Road from Aylesbury, in the County of Buckingham, to Hockliffe, in the County of Bedford;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Langport Roads Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Lascelles and others;

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for amending certain Roads in the County of Somerset, and for placing them, and other Roads, under the Care and Management of the Trustees of the Langport, Somerton and Castle Cary Roads;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Wendover Road Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Lascelles and others;

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act to amend an Act for more effctually repairing and improving the Road from Wendover to the Town of Buckingham, in the County of Buckingham;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

The said Ten Bills were, severally, read the First Time.

Langton's Act Amendment Bill referred to a Select Com ee under Standing Order No 198:

Ordered, That the Bill, intituled, "An Act to amend an Act for vesting and securing to John Stephen Langton Esquire certain Profits and Emoluments for a limited Time," be referred to a Select Committee, to enquire into the Expediency or Inexpediency of the Regulations therein contained, pursuant to the Standing Order No. 198; and to report to the House.

The Lords following were named of the said Committee:

Their Lordships, or any Five of them, to meet Tomorrow, at Ten o'Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings, near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Com ee to appoint a Chairman.

Ordered, That the said Committee do appoint their own Chairman.

Margate Pier & Harbour Co's Account delivered.

The House being informed, "That Mr. Cobb, from the Directors of The Margate Pier and Harbour Company, attended;"

He was called in; and delivered at the Bar, pursuant to the Directions of an Act of Parliament,

"An Account of the Receipt and Expenditure of The Margate Pier and Harbour Company, from the 6th of April 1830 to the 6th of April 1831, both Days inclusive."

And then he withdrew.

And the Title thereof being read by the Clerk;

Ordered, That the said Account do lie on the Table.

Court of Exchequer (Scotland) Bill presented.

The Order of the Day being read for the Lords to be summoned;

The Lord Chancellor presented to the House a Bill, intituled, "An Act for making Provision for the Dispatch of the Business now done by the Court of Exchequer in Scotland."

The said Bill was read the First Time.

Ordered, That the said Bill be printed.

Education, (Ireland,) Petition from Aghaloo for continuing Grants for.

Upon reading the Petition of the Minister, Churchwardens and Parishioners of the Parish of Aghaloo, and County of Tyrone, whose Names are thereunto subscribed; praying their Lordships "to continue that Support to the Society for the Education of the Poor of Ireland, by which alone its Labours can be rendered efficient:"

It is Ordered, That the said Petition do lie on the Table.

Gorbals Statute Labour Bill:

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to alter and amend an Act passed in the Sixth Year of the Reign of His late Majesty King George the Fourth, for regulating the Conversion of the Statute Labour within the Barony of Gorbals, in the City of Glasgow and County of Lanark."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H.C. that the Lords have agreed to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Wingfield and Mr. Farrer;

To acquaint them, That the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Assessed Taxes Composition Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to continue Compositions for Assessed Taxes until the Fifth Day of April One thousand eight hundred and thirtythree; and to grant Relief in certain Cases."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the Whole House.

Ordered, That the House be put into a Committee upon the said Bill To-morrow.

Militia Ballots Suspension Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to suspend, until the End of the next Session of Parliament, the making of Lists, and the Ballots and Enrolments, for the Militia of the United Kingdom."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the Whole House.

Ordered, That the House be put into a Committee upon the said Bill To-morrow.

Durham Road Bill.

The Earl of Shaftesbury reported from the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for more effectually repairing and improving the Road between the City of Durham and the Village of Shotley Bridge, in the County of Durham," was committed; That they had considered the said Bill, and examined the Allegations thereof, which were found to be true; and that the Committee had gone through the Bill, and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."

Ramie's Naturalization Bill.

The Earl of Shaftesbury also made the like Report from the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing Charles Francis Ramié," was committed.

Ordered, That the said Bill be ingrossed.

Dean Forest Boundaries Bill.

The House (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for ascertaining the Boundaries of the Forest of Dean, and for inquiring into the Rights and Privileges claimed by Free Miners of the Hundred of Saint Briavcl's; and for other Purposes."

After some Time, the House was resumed:

And The Earl of Shaftesbury reported from the Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill, and made One Amendment thereto, which he was ready to report, when the House will please to receive the same."

Ordered, That the said Report be received To-morrow.

Le Fevre's Divorce Bill.

The Order of the Day being read for the further Consideration and Second Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to dissolve the Marriage of Samuel Le Fevre Esquire with Mary his now Wife, and to enable him to marry again; and for other Purposes;" and for the Lords to be summoned;

Ordered, That the further Consideration and Second Reading of the said Bill be put off to Monday next, at Four o'Clock; and that the Lords be summoned.
