Entry Jane Pickman accused G, a Frenchwoman, of giving a purge of syrup of hyssop and roses to Mary Brett. The purge worked, but G also prescribed a herbal bath to be taken at a specific time. Mrs Brett took the bath at another time and died about 6 days later. Jane ?Llood corroborated this. G confessed. Because she was poor, pregnant and had a child not yet weaned, leniency was shown. The case was referred to the French Church in London.
