Marshalsea Court.

MOVED, that at the Committee for the Bill touching the Abuses of the Court of Marshalsea, the Knight Marshal might be heard with his Counsel: Which was assented unto ; and the Committee adjourned till Monday.

Sundry Committees adjourned to several Days.

Fame of worthy Persons.

Names added, upon Motion, to the Committee in the Bill for the better Continuance of the Fame and Memory of noble and worthy Persons, &c. viz. Mr. Secretary Herbert, Sir Robert Oxenbridge, Sir Herbert Crofts, Sir Henry Poole.

Soham Manor.

B. For the Confirmation of Letters Patents, made to Sir Roger Aston, &c. reported by Mr. Hyde, from the Committee, with some Amendments; which being twice read; the Bill, upon Question, ordered to be ingrossed.

Union with Scotland.

Sir William Twysenden reneweth the Dispute touching the Point of Naturalization. Mr. Recorder of London, Mr. Attorney-general, Mr. Solicitor, Sir Roger Owen, and Sir Edw. Grevill, continue it: with these Motions :

That first a Committee amongst themselves, and then a Conference.

That they might consider of what to confer :

That divers Cautions were to be propounded:

That they might consider of every Caution :

Sir William Twisden moveth, that the Point might first be disputed in the House ; and that the Lawyers would severally deliver their Opinions, to rectify and direct the Consciences of the rest.

Mr. Recorder: - Parts Two :

1. Whether all born since the King's coming, be naturalized-

2. Whether, if it be not so, we should consent to make them so. -
