CHARITIES FOR THE POOR.
Elizabeth Stradling in 1805 and Grace Callow by will proved 1875 each left £100 for the poor. Dinah Ritchie gave £100 in 1856 for bread and coal and Frances Stribbling Warren provided £50 for bread, both distributed on Christmas Eve. (fn. 1) Distribution had ceased by the 1980s. (fn. 2)
