CHARITIES FOR THE POOR.

John Slade of Maunsel House, by will proved 1801, gave an annuity of £2 a year to buy tools of husbandry for the use of the labouring poor of the parish. (fn. 1) No distributions have been made within living memory. (fn. 2)
