ORDERED, That the Committee for the Bill for Molton Marsh to meet on Tuesday at Two post meridiem, in the Court of Wards.

Attestation from Chester.

Ordered, That the Attestation, this Day exhibited, under the Hands of many of the Gentry of the County of Chester; which was this Day read; be referred to the Committee for Calvin Bruen.

Ctss. of Exeter's Estate.

Mr. Sutton reports the Bill concerning the settling, for ever, the Site of the Hospital of St. Leonard's, without the Town of Newarke upon Trent, and of certain Grounds, Parcel of the Possessions of the said Hospital, in the County of Nottingham, upon the Countess Dowager of Exon, her Heirs and Assigns for ever; and for Annexing of divers Lands and Tenements, of better Value, being the Inheritance of the said Countess, unto the Possessions of the said Hospital, for ever, in lieu thereof; and a Proviso unto it: Which was twice read.

Committee to meet, &c.

Ordered, That the Committee for particular Affairs of Ireland, unto which the Transmission of divers Irish Causes, reported by Mr. Pymme, is referred, do meet on Wednesday next, in the Exchequer-court, at Two post meridiem: And the Lawyers that are added to this Committee, are especially required to attend this Committee.

Rolle's Case.

Sir Robert Harley reports from the Committee of Trade, the Case of Mr. Rolle, a Member of this House, concerning Replevins: The which being read;

It was Ordered, That it be referred to the Consideration of the Committee of the Judges: And all the Lawyers of the House are added to this Committee: And they are to consider of the Legality and Illegality of the Orders in the Exchequer, and Proceedings in the Star-chamber: And they are further to consider of some Way for Reparations to be made unto him, for his Damages sustained by the several Orders in the Exchequer, and the Proceedings in the Star-chamber; and by the Detainment of his Goods by the Customers: And are to consider of the Breach of Privilege, and all other Particulars contained in this whole Report.

It was further Ordered, That Mr. Rolle shall forthwith have delivered unto him the Two Bales of Silk, which are detained from him, upon Pretence of the Duty of Custom and Impost.

Charges against the Judges.

Intimation is to be given to Mr. Pierpoint, Mr. Crew, Mr. Waller, and Mr. Hide, that they should prepare themselves to carry up the several Charges against the Judges; in this manner; viz. Mr. Pierpoint to carry up the Charge against Justice Berkley; Mr. Crew to carry up J. Bramston's; Mr. Waller, J. Crawley's ; Mr. Hide, the Barons of the Exchequer.

Customers, &c.

Mr. Hollis reports the Business concerning the Customers.

Ordered, That the Votes, this Day presented to the House from the Committee for the Customers, be recommitted to the same Committee; to consider of them, and to present them to the House: And they are to consider of all such as have been Officers, that should have had Care of the King's Revenue; how far, in all Particulars concerning Allowance of Accompts, Defalcations, or Procurements of any of the Grants or Impositions, they have been Delinquents: They are to make Report of the Votes so soon as may be; and not to attend the Perfecting of the latter Part of the Order: And are to meet this Afternoon at One of Clock, in the Duchy-court.

Mr. Selden, Mr. Solicitor, Mr. Vaughan, Mr. Hide, Mr. Glynn, Mr. Whistler, Mr. Crew, Sir Symonds D'Ewes, Sir Robert Pye, Sir Arthur Ingram, Mr. Strode, Serjeant Wilde, are added to this Committee.

Treaty with Scotland.

Mr. Crew reports from the Grand Committee, concerning the Treaty, the Answer to the last Article of the Head concerning Peace: It was thus;

That this House hath already given an Answer to the Proposition concerning Unity in Religion; to which they refer themselves; and wherein they will be careful.

Privilege in a Suit.

ORDERED, That the Court of Wards may proceed in the Cause between Francis Gent, his Majesty's Ward, George Gent, & al', and Sir Wm. Playters, a Member of this House, a Trustee for the Lease in question, notwithstanding any former Order in this House; and notwithstanding any Privilege of Parliament; the said Sir Wm. Playters, openly in the Court, waving any Privilege in this Cause, for this time.

The Treaty with Scotland.

Mr. Speaker opens the Report, that Mr. Crew made, concerning that Part of the Treaty which concerns Commerce:

And, upon the Answer, to the first Part of the Eleventh Article, under the Head of Trade,

Russon, in Lime- street; Adam Lawrence, in St. Ellens; These to be desired to attend the Committee appointed to treat with such Persons as they shall think fit, concerning the Lending of Monies, on Monday at One post meridiem, in the Treasury-chamber.

And then, upon Mr. Crew's Report from the Grand Committee, concerning that Part of the Treaty which concerns Commerce, it was thus Resolved, upon the Question, by the House,

1. That this House agree to the Answer, which is given by the Lords, to the First Article concerning Trade:

2. That this House referreth the Second Article to such Commissioners, as shall be nominated by both Houses of Parliament; to prepare and treat of; to the end that this House may take it into further Consideration:

3. That the Third Article be referred to Commissioners, as the Second Article is:

4. That the Fourth Article be referred, as the Third Article is:

5. That this House agreeth to the Answer, which is given by the Lords, to the Fifth Article:

6. That this House agreeth to the Sixth Article, as the Lords have done:

7. That the Seventh Article be referred, as the Second is:

8. That this House agreeth to the Answer, given by the Lords, to the Eighth Article.

The Ninth and Tenth were laid aside for this time.

11. Upon the Question, of the Answer of the Committee to the first Part of the Eleventh Article; which was; that the Committee thinks fit, that the first Part of the Eleventh Article, concerning Incendiaries, be assented unto;

The House was divided: But the Question passed with the Affirmative. -And thereupon, according to the Sense of the Committee, the House Resolved, That they think it fit, that the First Part of the Eleventh Article, concerning Iacendiaries, be assented unto.

Resolved, &c. That the House thinks it fit to refer the latter Part of the Eleventh Article to Commissioners for the Borders; to prepare and treat of; to the End this House may take it into further Consideration.

Paper from the Scotts.

There was delivered in, by One of the Committee appointed to treat with a Committee of the Lords, concerning the Disbanding of the Armies, a Paper from the Scotts: Which was read; and nothing more done in it for this time: but referred to be considered of on Monday Morning.
