Prayers.
THE House, according to an Order Yesterday made,
took into Consideration the Approbation of the
Commanders and Officers, presented in a List by Sir
Tho. Fairefaxe.
And the Colonels and Officers of the Foot and Horse
Regiments were all, particularly, one by one, read; and, one
by one, voted; and all approved of by the Question; only
Colonel Ayloffe was referred back to Sir Tho. Fairefaxe.
Ordered, That the Case of Major Harrison and Captain
Le Hunt be referred back to Sir Tho. Fairefaxe; to examine the Business, and to settle it according to the Rule
of War.
As to the Persons of Captain Le Hunt and Major Harrison, it is Resolved, That the House doth approve of them
to be Officers.
The Question being put, For the Approbation of
Captain Poe;
It passed with the Negative.
Ordered, That Captain Poe shall be forthwith sent for
in safe Custody: And that it be recommended to my
Lord of Manchester to cashier him, and to cause him to
be sent for up in safe Custody.
Ordered, That it be especially recommended to the
Earl of Manchester, forthwith to give Order to secure the
Horse and Arms of Captain Poe's Troop; and to turn
That Troop over to Sir Thomas Fairfax: And Sir Jo.
Potts is to acquaint the Earl of Manchester with this
Order.
Ordered, That the Committee of Kent, Members of this
House, do confer with Sir Thomas Fairfax about the
Officers to be in Colonel Weldon's Regiment: And Sir
Wm. Strickland is added to this Committee for this Occasion.
The Question being propounded, Whether the Question should be now put for the Approbation of Captain
Boughe;

A Letter from Colonel G . . ., Colonel Berkley, and
others, at Redding, directed to his Excellency, concerning Pay for the Forces there, and thereabouts, was read.
Resolved, &c. That Two thousand Pounds more shall be
advanced out of the Excise, for Payment of my Lord General's Foot about Redding, Farnham, &c.: And Mr. Nicoll
is appointed to move the Commissioners of Excise herein.
Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of both
Kingdoms, to consider of paying my Lord General's
Horse.
A Letter from Colonel Massy, of the 23th of February,
was read, of a Victory God hath given him against Sir
John Winter.
Ordered, That Mr. Recorder do write a Letter of
Thanks, from this House, to Colonel Massy, for the good
Services done by him: And that the Committee, appointed
for Payment of Five hundred Pounds to him, do pay the
same with all Expedition.
Ordered, That the Business of the List, presented by
Sir Thomas Fairfax, be taken into further Consideration
To-morrow Morning.
