Die Mercurii, 31 Decembris, 1645, Dies Publicæ Humiliationis.

ORdered, That Mr. Wheeler, Mr. Hill, and Mr. Millington, do give Thanks from this House to Mr. Stronge and Mr. Foxcroft, for the great Pains they took in the Sermons they preached this Day, at the Intreaty of this House, at St. Margaret's, Westminster; it being the Day of Publick Humiliation; and to desire them to print their Sermons; And they are to have the like Privilege in Printing of them, as others in the like Kind usually have had.

Ordered, That Mr. Long and Sir Gilbert Gerard do, from this House, desire Mr. Vines and Mr. Marshall to preach before the Commons at St. Margaret's, Westminster, the next Fast-Day.

Ordered, That Mr. Stronge be added to the Assembly of Divines, in the place of Mr. Peale.

The Lords Concurrence to be desired herein.

Ordered, by the Commons, assembled in Parliament, That Mr. Reynolds, one of the Members of the Assembly of Divines, shall have One hundred Pounds, upon Accompt, out of the Revenues of the Archbishoprick of Canterbury: And that the Committee of the Revenue do take care, that the same be paid, accordingly.

Ordered, by the Commons assembled, That, on the next Fast-Day, Mr. Millington do make his Report of the Business concerning Paul Beast.
