Prayers.
SIR Gilbert Gerard reports the Amendments to the
Ordinance, sent from the Lords, for making Mr.
Job Grey Master of the new Hospital or Alms-house in
Leicester: The which were twice read; and, upon the
Question, assented unto: And the Ordinance, so amended,
upon the Question, passed; and ordered to be returned
to the Lords, with these Amendments; and the Lords
Concurrence desired therein.
Sir Gilbert Gerard is appointed to carry it to the Lords.
A Letter from Mr. Ruthworth, from Truro, of 13
Martii 1645, was this Day read; and ordered to be
forthwith printed.
Ordered, That Mr. Heath, the Messenger that brought
the Letter of 13 Martii 1645, from Mr. Rushworth,
from Truro, this Day read in the House, shall have
Twenty Pounds bestowed upon him for his Pains: And
that the Committee of Plymouth do pay the same accordingly.
Resolved, &c. That an Invitation shall be now sent,
from both Houses of Parliament, to the Prince; to desire
him to come in to the Parliament's Quarters, to reside in
such Place, and with such Council, and such Attendants,
about him, as both Houses of Parliament shall think fit
to appoint.
The Lords Concurrence to be desired herein.
