Prayers.

Door Shut.

RESOLVED, That the Door be shut till Twelve of Clock.

Thanksgiving Day.

An Act for setting apart Thursday the Second of October 1651, a Day for publick Thanksgiving; with a Narrative, shewing the Grounds and Reasons thereof; was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Day of publick Thanksgiving be on Friday, the 24th of October.

Resolved, That this Act be committed; viz. to Mr. Scott, Major Salwey, Mr. Oldesworth, Colonel Marten, Mr. Hill, Alderman Atkins, Sir James Harrington, Sir Henry Vane, Sir Wm. Brereton, Mr. Ralegh, Colonel Thompson, Mr. Bond, Mr. Cawley, Sir Wm. Masham, Mr. Holland, Mr. Nevill, Mr. Carew, Sir Gilbert Pickering, Alderman Allen, Mr. Dove, Mr. Strickland, Mr. Love, Colonel Sidenham, or any Three of them: And this Committee are to meet this Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, in Mr. Speaker's Chamber: Major Salwey and Mr. Scott do take Care of it; and to report it on Thursday next.

Act of Navigation.

Resolved, That the Report of the Amendments to the Bill for Increase of Shipping, &c. be made on Thursday next, the first Business.

The House, according to former Order, adjourned itself to Tuesday Morning next, Eight of Clock.
