RESOLVED, That Mr. Warner do make his Report from the Committee of Trade on Saturday Morning next, the first Business.

Chancery Court.

Colonel Barton reports, from the Committee for the Law, Amendments to the Bill touching the Chancery: Which were twice read;

And the Question being put, for agreeing to these Amendments;

It passed in the Negative.

The Question being put, That this Bill be re-committed;

The House was divided.

The Yeas went forth.

Alderman Titchborne, Tellers for the Yeas: 36.
Mr. King, With the Yeas,
Mr. Wingfield, Tellers for the Noes: 44.
Mr. Broughton, With the Noes,

So it passed with the Negative.

And the Question being put, That this Bill be ingrossed;

Resolved, That this Bill be rejected.

Resolved, That the Committee for the Law do bring in the Two Bills that lie before that Committee, in pursuance of the first Votes touching the Chancery, on Tuesday Morning next: And that the Committee be enjoined to meet, and attend that Service of preparing the said Bill fit for the House.
