Prayers.
Settling the Government.
RESOLVED, That the Grand Committee of the
whole House touching the Government do sit as
formerly, according to former Votes; and proceed as
formerly, according to the former Directions.
The House, according to former Order, was resolved
into a Committee of the whole House, upon the Government.
Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Hoskins was called to the Chair.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.
Mr. Hoskins reports, the Desire of the said Grand
Committee, That the House would give Leave that the
Committee may sit again To-morrow Morning.
Resolved, That the House be resolved into a Committee of the whole House To-morrow Morning, upon
the Government, according to former Order.
Collection on Fast Day.
Ordered, That the Serjeant at Arms attending the
Parliament, do pay over to the Churchwardens of the
Church of Margarett's Westminster, the Monies collected
in the House on Wednesday last, being the Fast Day, to
be disposed of for Relief of the Poor: And that the
Acquittance of the Churchwardens shall be a Discharge
unto the Serjeant for the same.
