Saturday, the 20th of September, 1656.

Excluded Members.

THE House this Day resumed the Debate adjourned Yesterday until this Morning.

Resolved, That this House doth desire the Council to give unto the House, on Monday Morning next, their Reasons, why those Members who are returned from the several Counties and Boroughs for Members, are not approved.

Resolved, That these Words; viz. "and why they are not admitted to come into the House," be added to the former Vote: And so it was

Publick Fast.

The Lord Broghill reports from the Committee, to whom it was referred to prepare a Declaration, shewing the Grounds of the Fast, a Draught of a Declaration: Which was first read by himself, and then by the Clerk; and ordered to be taken up again on Monday Morning.

The House adjourned itself till Monday Morning, Eight of Clock.
