Mackmath's &c. Nat.

A BILL for Naturalizing of John Mackmath, Lovis Rolaz, Abraham Gyrard, Abraham Guyot, Paul Preudhomme, John Browning, Daniell Demetrius, Peter Mark Sparke, Andrew Odovin, Frederick Houpert, Theodore Naudin, John Vandberge, John de la Pier alias Peters, Oliver Anthony Marker, Lewis Gilliart, Claudius Gilliart, Peter Spitzer, Ernett Wolfe, Detloff Heitman, John Peterson, Hester Gore, Garrard Gore, Nicholas de la Noye, Nicholas Buly, Edward Christian, and Isabella Blackett, Elizabeth Hodgkin, Walter Vanhuvel, Mathew Diamount, Paul Augier, James Augier, John Browninck, William Van Walle, was this Day read the Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to the Committee to whom the former Bills for Naturalization were committed.

Johnson's Bequests.

A Bill for Settlement of a Rent-Charge of One hundred Pounds per Ann. to be issuing out of the Manors and Lands of Samuell Johnson, Esquire, for Maintenance of Sixteen Scholars in the Colleges of Sidney, St. John's, Emmanuell, and Clare-Hall, in the University of Cambridge, in pursuance of the Gift of Robert Johnson, was this Day read the First time; and ordered to be read the Second time on Saturday next.

Union with Scotland.

The House, according to former Order, was this Day resolved into a Grand Committee of the whole House, upon the Bill for Uniting Scotland into one Commonwealth with England.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Bampfeild took the Chair.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Bampfeild reports from the said Committee, their Desire to have Leave to sit again on this Bill on Thursday next.

Resolved, That the House be resolved into a Committee of the whole House on Friday next, upon the Bill for Uniting Scotland into one Commonwealth with England.
