Wednesday, the 8th of April, 1657.

Petition and Advice.

THE Speaker desires the Direction of the House, Whether, when he hath read to his Highness the Paper containing the Reasons, he shall deliver the same to his Highness:

It was agreed he should.

The Speaker likewise propounded, Whether the Paper should be signed by the Clerk:

It was agreed it should.

The Speaker also desired to know the Pleasure of the House, Whether the Petition should be carried:

Agreed, it should.

Resolved, That the House do now attend his Highness at Whitchall; and from that Time be adjourned till Tomorrow, Eight of the Clock in the Morning.
