Recognizing Protector's Title.
THE House, according to the Order made Yesterday, proceeded in the Debate concerning the Negative Voice.
The Question being propounded, That this House shall proceed to determine the Power of the Negative Voice in the Chief Magistrate, in the Passing of Laws, before the Constitution of the Parliament, as to Two Houses, be first resolved on;
The House was divided.
The Yeas went forth.

Privilege-Case of Nevill and Strowde.
Resolved, &c. That To-morrow Sevennight be appointed to hear Counsel on both Sides, in the Cause between Mr. Nevill and Mr. Strowde, late Sheriff of the County of Berks.
Constitution of Parliament.
Resolved, &c. That the House do take into Consideration, the Constitution of the Parliament, as to Two Houses, the first Business To-morrow Morning; and that nothing else do then intervene.
Leave of Absence.
Ordered, That Mr. James Ash shall have Leave to go into the Country for Ten Days.
