Monday, the 3d of October, 1659.

Elections.

THE House resumed the Debate, adjourned on Saturday, touching filling up the House with Members.

Resolved, That the Matter of this Debate be adjourned until this Day Sevennight.

The Question being propounded, That it be referred to a Committee, to consider of the Distributions, Numbers, and Qualifications of Members to be elected to fit and serve in Parliament;

And the Question being put, That that Question be now put;

It passed with the Affirmative.

And the main Question being put; It was

Resolved, That it be referred to a Committee, to consider of the Distributions, Numbers, and Qualifications of Members to be elected to sit and serve in Parliament.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee to whom the Government is referred: And that they meet To-morrow Morning, and so from Day to Day.

Government.

Ordered, That the Committee for the Government do report what they have done in that Business To-morrow Morning.
