Prayers.

Printing Declaration.

Ordered, That this House doth approve of the Order taken by the Committee, in prohibiting, that no more Copies of the Declaration be published till further Order: And that the Committee do take Order, That the said Declaration may be reprinted, with the Errata amended.

Sale of Worcester Steeple,

An Ordinance for making Sale of the Leaden Steeple in the City of Worcester, and employing the Proceed thereof for re-edifying the Alms Houses destroyed there; and for Repairing of some neighbouring Churches demolished by these Wars; was this Day read; and, upon the Question, passed; and ordered to be sent unto the Lords for their Concurrence.

University Appointments.

An Ordinance for appointing Joshua Crosse of Lincoln College, Master of Arts, and Ralph Button of Merton College, Master of Arts, Proctors of the University of Oxon, was this Day read; and, upon the Question, passed; and ordered to be sent unto the Lords for their Concurrence.

An Ordinance for appointing Mr. Edward Reynolds, Master of Arts, recommended by the Earl of Pembrook, Chancellor of the University of Oxon, Vice Chancellor of the said University, was this Day read.

A Proviso was tendered, to be annexed to the said Ordinance, and read; and was, That the said Mr. Reynolds, shall not have or hold any Benefice, with Cure of Souls, during the Time of his Vice Chancellorship.

And the said Proviso was laid aside.

The Question being put, For passing the Ordinance;

The Ordinance, upon the Question, passed; and is ordered to be sent unto the Lords for their Concurrence.

Mr. Rous is appointed to carry this, and the Other, touching Proctors, to the Lords.

Disbanding Forces.

Resolved, &c. That Colonel Horton, Sir Richard Philips, Baronet, Bussy Mansell, Esquire, Colonel Edward Prichard, Colonel Thomas Carne, Colonel Philip Jones, James Philips, Esquire, John Price, Esquire, all the Sheriffs of South Wales, or any Two of them, be appointed Commissioners; and are hereby authorized, and have full Power, to employ their best Service in disbanding the Forces appointed to be disbanded in South Wales, according to former Instruction and Ordinances of Parliament.

The Lords Concurrence to be desired herein.

Comm rs of Assessment.

Ordered, That Edmond Games, named in the Ordinance for raising the Threescore thousand Pounds, to be one of the Commissioners in the County of Brecknock, be altered, and made Edward Games: And that John Walbeuf, in the said Ordinance, be made Charles Walbeuf.

Disbanding Forces.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee at Derby House, from time to time, to take care, and give Order, for removing all Obstructions that do or may happen in the disbanding the Forces to be disbanded in the Counties of Wales, and elsewhere.

Message to Lords.

Mr. Pierrepoint is appointed to carry to the Lords, Order concerning Mr. Pury and Mr. Hodges, for passing their Accompts: Order concerning Lieutenant Colonel Wm. Wetton: Order for Lady Cawfield to have One hundred Pounds, and Four Pounds per Week: Order for a great Piece of Battery at Stafford to be sent to Colonel Jones in Ireland: Order for a thousand Firelocks to be sent to Dublyn: Ordinance for Mr. Henry Middleton to be Serjeant at Arms.

Answer.

Mr. Pierrepoint brings Answer, That the Lords do agree to all the Votes and Orders carried by him to the Lords.

Sheriffs Accompts.

Ordered, That, on Tuesday Morning next, the first Business, and nothing to intervene, the Reports be made, touching the Ease of Sheriffs, in passing their Accompts: And that Mr. Speaker do put the House in mind hereof.

Army Pay.

Resolved, &c. That an Assessment be made for the Pay of the Army, for Six Months longer, to begin from the Five-and-twentieth of March next: And that it be referred to the Committee of the Army, to prepare and bring in an Ordinance to this Purpose.

The Question was propounded, That the Pay of the Army shall be after the Rate of Threescore thousand Pounds per Mensem:

And the Question being put, Whether this Question shall be now put;

It passed with the Affirmative.

Resolved, &c. That the Proportion of the Pay of the Army shall be after the Rate of Threescore thousand Pounds per mensem:

Ordered, That Mr. Scawen do bring in the Ordinance for the Pay of Army, on Tuesday Morning next.

London Tythes.

Ordered, That the Committee for plundered Ministers be added to the Committee for the Ordinance for Payment of London Tythes.

Disbanding Forces.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of the Army, to pay off the Forces of the Garison of Dover that are to be disbanded, according to . . . . . the Commissioners employed in that Service.

Attainting Jenkins.

An Ordinance for the Attainting of David Jenkins, late of Greye's Inn in the County of Middlesex, Esquire, of High Treason, was this Day read; and is ordered to be read the Second time To-morrow at Eleven of Clock.

Impeachments.

Ordered, That, on Saturday Morning next, the first Business, and nothing to intervene, notwithstanding any former Order, the House do proceed in the Impeachments.
