Prayers.
Master of Armoury.
ORDERED, That his Majesty's Solicitor General
do prepare a Patent, in usual Form, containing the
Grant of the Place or Office of Master of the Armoury in the
Tower and Greenwich, to Anthony Nicholl Esquire, to have
and hold the said Place, with all Profits and Advantages
thereunto of Right belonging to him the said Anthony
Nicholl, during Life, in as large and ample Manner, as
any other Person, his Predecessor, formerly held and enjoyed the same: And the Commissioners of the Great
Seal of England are hereby authorized and required to
pass the said Grant, so prepared, under the said Great
Seal, accordingly.

Essex Sequestrations.
An Ordinance for sequestring the Estates of new Delinquents, in the County of Essex, was this Day read the
First and Second time; and, upon the Question, committed unto Sir Wm. Massam, Colonel Copley, Mr. Lane,
Mr. Holland, Mr. Nicholas, Mr. Bois, Mr. Dodderidge,
Mr. Gurdon, Sir Martin Lumley, Sir John Maynard,
Mr. Waller, Mr. Wheeler, Mr. Nath. Stephens, Mr.
Scawen, Sir Wm. Lewis, Mr. Priestley, Mr. Hoyle, Mr.
Bond, Colonel Thompson, Colonel Massey, Sir Walter
Erle, Mr. Blake, Sir Martin Lister, Colonel Whight,
Mr. * Ashe, Mr. * Corbett, Mr. * Bacon, Mr. Clive,
Mr. Glemham, Colonel Moore, Mr. Sayer, Sir Henry

This Committee are to meet To-morrow in the Afternoon, in the Exchequer Chamber. And
It is Ordered, That the same be reported between Ten
and Twelve of Clock: And, at the same time, the Free
Quarter, demanded by the County, and the Assessments
of the said County, be taken into Consideration.

A Message from the Lords, by Dr. Aylett and Mr.
Eltonhead;
The Lords have commanded us to bring unto you an
Ordinance concerning the Lady Viscountess Fairefax;
which hath passed their House: And they desire the Concurrence of this House therein.
Ordered, That, on Monday Morning next, the Ordinance touching the Lady Viscountess Fairefax be read.
Ld. Hereford.
A Message from the Lords, by Sir Edward Leech and
Mr. Page;
The Lords have commanded us to put you in mind
of a Petition of the Lord Viscount Hereford, which they
formerly sent and recommended unto you; in regard of
his great Worth, and Losses which he hath suffered for
his Constancy to the Parliament: Which they desire you
take into speedy Consideration.
Ordered, That, on Monday, the Petition of the Lord
Viscount Hereford be taken into Consideration, next after
the Ordinance concerning the Lady Viscountess Fairefax.
Answer returned by the same Messengers; That the
House hath considered their Lordships Message; and have
taken a short Time to take it into Consideration; and
will send Answer thereunto by Messengers of their own.

Treaty with the King.
Sir John Maynard is appointed to go to the Lords, to
carry to them the Votes passed upon his Majesty's Answer to the Proposition concerning Delinquents: The
Order for an Instruction to the Commissioners in the Isle
of Wight, to present the Catechisms to the King, for his
Approbation.
Sir John Maynard brings Answer, That the Lords will
send Answer by Messengers of their own.
According to the Order Yesterday made,
Resolved, &c. That his Majesty's Answer, contained in
a Paper, of 11 Octobris 1648, to the Proposition delivered, by the Commissioners, in a Paper, of 9 Octobris
1648, concerning Ireland, is satisfactory.
The Question being put, That the King's Answer to
the Proposition concerning the Payment of publick Debts,
&c. is satisfactory;
