Prayers.
Excise.
THE House proceeded in reading the Bill for regulating the Excise.
Which was read the First and Second time; and, upon
the Question, committed to the Committee of the Excise:
And all that come to have Voices to this Purpose.
Ordered, That it be referred to this Committee, to
take into Consideration whatsoever Propositions shall be
offered unto them by Dr. Parker, and the rest, for the
Benefit and Advantage of the Commonwealth.
Lancaster Seals.
Mr. Speaker this Day delivered over to the Lord
Commissioner Lisle, the several Seals of the Duchy
Chamber of Lancaster in Westminster, and of the County
Palatine of Lancaster, according to the Act authorizing
the said Seals.
Transporting Felons.
Mr. Garland reports an Act for transporting Threescore
Prisoners out of the Gaol of Newgate.
Which was this Day read; and upon the Question,
passed.
Report deferred.
Ordered, That the Report touching the Nine thousand
One hundred Pounds, be made To-morrow Morning.
Publick Accompts.
Ordered, That the Act touching the Accompts of the
whole Kingdom, and the Act touching the Accompts of
the Navy, be read To-morrow Morning.
Judge's Salary.
Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of the
Revenue, forthwith to pay unto Serjeant Green his Salary
for the Essex Circuit.
Corporations.
Ordered, That Mr. Weaver do report the Act touching removing ill-affected Officers out of Corporations,
on Thursday Morning next, the first Business.
Medals, &c. at St. James'.
Resolved, &c. That the Medals and Models at St.
James's be not sold, till the House take further Order.
Ordered, That it be referred to the Council of State,
to take care that the Books, and the Medals, at St. James',
be not sold or or imbeziled.
Havering Liberty.
Ordered, That the Act touching nulling the Liberty
of Havering, be reported on Wednesday next.
One-and-half per Cent.
Ordered, That the Bill be brought in on Friday next,
touching the One Pounds and an Half per Cent.
Tonage, &c. Seal.
An Act for altering the Seal of Tonage and Poundage
was this Day read; and, upon the Question, passed.
