ORDERED by the Parliament, That the Report
touching the Customs and Commissioners be made
on Thursday Morning next, the first Business.
The House, according to former Order, did this Day
resume the Debate upon the Bill for Sequestrations.
The Question being propounded, That the Time for
the Commencement of this Act be from and after the
Twentieth of December 1649;
And the Question being put, That that Question be now
It passed with the Affirmative.
And the main Question being put;
It was Resolved, &c. That the Time for the Commencement of this Act be from and after the Twentieth of
Resolved, That the Word "henceforth," in the Fortysixth Line of the Bill, be made 25 die Januarii 1649.
The Question being propounded, That the Word
"publick" do stand in the Bill;
It passed with the Negative.
Resolved, That this Debate be resumed on Thursday
