Representation and Elections.
THE House, according to former Order, was resolved into a Grand Committee, upon the Heads
of the Bill for an equal Representative.
Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Say took the Chair.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.
Mr. Say reports from the Grand Committee, That
that Committee hath adjourned till Wednesday next; and
desires Leave of the House to sit then.
Resolved, &c. That the House be resolved into a Grand
Committee on This-day-sevennight; to fit upon the
Heads of the Bill for an equal Representative, and regulating Elections.
Hide Park.
Resolved, That the Custody of Hide Park be committed to Thomas Lord Grey, during the Pleasure of the Parliament: And that Mr. Attorney General be authorized
and required to prepare a Patent for that Purpose, in
usual Form: And the Lords Commissioners for the Great
Seal of England are hereby authorized and required to
pass the same under the said Great Seal accordingly.
High Court of Justice.
Mr. William Stephens reports Amendments to the Bill
for the Erecting of an High Court of Justice; together
with the Names of Commissioners to be inserted into that
Act: Which were twice read.
Resolved, That the Lord Commissioner Keeble, Mr.
Recorder, John Green Serjeant at Law, John Parker
Serjeant at Law, be Commissioners in this Act.
Resolved, That Richard Saltonstall Esquire be one of
the Commissioners in this Act.
Resolved, That Aaron Geurdain Doctor of Physick,
Master of the Mint, be one of the Commissioners in this
Act.
Resolved, That the Persons, whose Names were brought
in by the Committee, with these Additions, be Commissioners in this Act.
