MR. Weaver reports from the Committee, A Bill for suppressing divers atheistical, blasphemous, and execrable Opinions, and unlawful Meetings and Assemblies.

Which was this Day read the First time.

And the Question being propounded, That this Bill be rejected;

And the Question being put, That that Question be now put;

It passed with the Negative.

And the Question being propounded, That the said Bill be now read the Second time;

And the Question being put, That that Question be now put;

It passed with the Affirmative.

And the main Question being put, That this Act be now read the Second time;

It passed with the Affirmative.

The said Bill was, accordingly, now read the Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to Sir Henry Vane junior, Colonel John Jones, Colonel P. Jones, Mr. Holland, Major Salway, Colonel Rich, Colonel Ludlow, Colonel Harrison, Sir Gilbert Pickering, Alderman Allen, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Mr. Luke Hodges, Colonel Fielder, Lord Commissioner Lisle, Sir Wm. Masham, Alderman Pennington, Major Lister, Mr. * Corbett, Colonel Marten, Sir Wm. Allanson, Mr. Moyle, Mr. Hallowes, Colonel Purefoy; or any Five of them: And all that come, to have Voices: And this Committee is to meet on Wednesday, in the Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.
