Dallison's Estate.
A Bill for enabling Sir Robert Dallison to sell Lands
for Payment of his Debts, was this Day read the Second
time; and, upon the Question, committed to Sir Anthony Irby, Mr. Pryn, Sir Gilbert Gerrard, Mr. Monson,
Sir Wm. Hickman, Mr. Mountague, Sir Solomon Swale,
Mr. Minors, Mr. Newton, Colonel King, Mr. Lowther,
Sir Ralph Ashton, Mr. Skipwith, Sir Wm. Doyley, Sir
Ed. Rosseter, Sir Henry North, Sir Tho. Meeres, Mr.

Mr. Francis Bacon reports Amendments to the Bill for
enabling of Augustine Skynner to sell Lands for Payment

Mr. Pryn reports Amendments to the Bill for Confirmation of Leases, Grants, and Presentations, made by

gave them this Answer;

Settling Ministers in Livings.
Resolved, That in the 5th Folio, Lines 9 and 14, of
the Bill for Ministers, these Words, "or waved," be
omitted; and, betwixt the Words "resigned, surrendered," next preceding, the Word "or," be inserted.
Resolved, That in the 5th and last Line of the 3d Proviso, offered amongst the Amendments, the Words "or
waved" be omitted; and the Word "or" be inserted
betwixt the Words "resigned" and "surrendered," in
like Manner as in the forementioned Clause.
Lords desire a Conference-Poll Bill.
A Message from the Lords, by Mr. * * and Mr.
Brampston, Masters of Chancery;
Mr. Speaker, The Lords desire a present free Conference with this House, in the Painted Chamber, upon
the Bilfor Poll Money.
Resolved, That a free Conference be forthwith granted
with the Lords, as is desired.
Resolved, That the same Committee that were appointed to manage the Conference with the Lords Yesterday, do manage this Conference.
The Messengers being again called in, Mr. Speaker
gave them this Answer;

Excise.
Ordered, That Mr. Solicitor General be desired to
bring in a Bill, To-morrow Morning, for continuing the
Imposition of Excise till Christmas next.

Adams' Hospital.
Ordered, That Five be the Quorum of the Committee
to whom the Bill for Wm. Adams' Hospital is referred:
And that the Knights and Burgesses that serve for the
County of Stafford, and the Members that serve for the
City of London, be added to that Committee.
Sales.
Ordered, That the Grand Committee, to whom the
Bill touching Sales is referred, have the Leave of this
House to sit on each Wednesday in the Afternoon, as well
as on Mondays and Fridays in the Afternoon.
Grampound Writ.
Hugh Boscawen Esquire, being elected to serve in this
present Parliament as a Knight for the County of Cornewall, and also as Burgess for the Borough of Grampound
in the said County, did this Day make his Election to
serve for the said County, and waved his Election for the
Borough of Grampound aforesaid;
Ordered, That a new Writ be issued for the Election
of a Burgess to serve in this present Parliament for the
Borough of Grampound in the County of Cornewall, in
the Place of Hugh Boscawen Esquire, who hath made an
Election to serve as Knight for the said County of Cornewall; and that Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the
Clerk of the Crown in Chancery, to prepare a Writ
for the Purpose aforesaid: Which the Lord Chancellor
is to issue and pass under the Great Seal of England
accordingly.
Lords concur in Order, &c.
The Lord Bruce reports, that the Lords concur to the
Order for Money for Payment of the Army; and also
that their Committee will be ready to accompany the
Committee of this House, at Four of the Clock this Afternoon, into the City, for borrowing the One hundred
thousand Pounds.
Judicial Proceedings.
The Amendments and Provisoes, sent down from the
Lords, to the Bill for Confirmation of judicial Proceedings, were read the First time.
The first Amendment was read, with the Coherence;
and, upon the Question, agreed unto.
Ordered, That the Amendments be referred to a Committee, to compare them with the Bill; and if they find
any thing doubtful, that they report it, with their Doubts,
To-morrow Morning; viz. unto Serjeant Maynard,
