Abuses, Delays, Vexations, Exactions, and unnecessary Expences, in the Law and Courts of publick
Justice, was this Day read the First time.
The Question being put, That this Bill be read again,

It was resolved in the Affirmative.
Clothing Trade.
A Bill for regulating the Manufacture of Clothing,
was this Day read the First time.
Resolved, That this Bill be read again, the Second
time, on This-day sevennight.
Committees
Ordered, That all standing and constant Committees
be revived, and do sit at the usual Times and Places:
And that the several Committees for publick Bills be also
revived; and do meet in the Speaker's Chamber this
Afternoon; and adjourn to the usual Times and Places of
their Sitting.
Brecon Writ.
Ordered, That the Committee of Privileges and Elections, at their Sitting To-morrow in the Afternoon, the first
Business, do send for the Clerk of the Crown, and examine the Abuse in suppressing the Writ issued for the
Election of a Knight for the County of Brecon; and do
make Report of it, the next Morning after, to this House.
Message to attend the King.

a Message from his Sacred Majesty;
Mr. Speaker,
The King calls this honourable House to attend His
Majesty forthwith in the House of Peers.
Mr. Speaker reports to the House the Effect of his
Majesty's Speech.
Ordered, That the Advance of the King's Majesty's
Revenue be taken into Consideration, the first publick
Business, To-morrow Morning.
