Stodscombe, &c. Manors.

A BILL for discharging the Manors of Stodscombe and Holwell, and other Lands in the County of Devon, from the Trust of One hundred and Fifty Years, made unto John Earl of Exeter, John Earl of Bridgwater, and Oliver Earl of Bullingbrooke (sent from the Lords), was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, That the same be committed to Mr. Coriton, Sir Anthony Irby, Mr. Buller, Sir Clifford Clifton, Sir Wm. Lewes, Mr. Clifford, Mr. Samuell Trelawney, Mr. Strickland, Mr. Newton, Sir Benjamin Ayloff, Mr. Bullen Reames, Mr. Attorney of the Duchy, Mr. Eyre, Mr. Kirkby, Sir Roger Bradshaigh, Mr. Whitley, Sir Robert Brooke, Sir Chichester Wrey, Sir Lancelot Lake, Sir Wm. Poor Relief.

Privilege-Persons discharged.

Ordered, That Daberon, that was sent for to the Committee to which the Bill for Execution of certain Persons attainted of High Treason, was committed, in the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms, be discharged, paying his Fees: And that James Bickerstaffe, that was also sent for in Custody, but was only concerned as a Witness, be discharged, paying the Serjeant at Arms such Charges as he hath been put to, in sending for and keeping the said Bickerstaffe in Custody.

Bullingbrook, &c. Common.

A Petition of the Lords, Owners, Freeholders, and other Inhabitants of the Twenty-two Towns within the Soak of Bullingbrook, and of the Eight Towns of East Holland, having Common of Pasture in the East and West Fen in the County of Lincolne, was this Day read.

The Question being put, To have the Petition committed;

Excise Revenue.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the Committee formerly appointed for the Inspection of the King's Revenue be joined to the Committee last appointed, to receive Proposals touching the Advance of the Excise; and do examine the Books of Account touching the Excise; and receive the Returns from the Members of this House upon the Letters sent into the several Counties; and also to receive such Proposals as shall be made by any Persons in relation to the Excise; and to make Report thereof to the House, with all the Speed they can: And that they do meet, in the Exchequer Chamber, this Afternoon, to inspect the Books of Accounts; and afterwards, from time to time, for the Purposes before directed: And it is particularly recommended to Mr. Milward, to take care of this Business; and to see it expedited.

Lords reminded of Bills.

Ordered, That a Message be sent to the Lords to desire them to give Dispatch to the Bill of Uniformity; and for confirming the Act for Ministers: And the Lord Falkland is to carry up this Message to the Lords.

Private Business.

Resolved, That for Three Weeks, from this Day, no private Business shall be taken into Consideration, or be proceeded in, after Nine of the Clock, save only on Saturday next, which is hereby reserved for the Business of the Fens, already appointed for that Day.
