Prayers.

Marq. of Winchester's Award.

AN ingrossed Bill for confirming the Conveyances made or mentioned to be made, in pursuance of an Award made by the King's Majesty, for composing the Differences between John Lord Marquis of Winchester, and his eldest Son Charles Lord St. John was read.

A Proviso was tendered on the Behalf of Mr. Daniell Wicherley: and rejected.

The Question being put, That the Bill do pass;

It was resolved in the Affirmative: And that the Title shall be, An Act for confirming the Conveyances made, or mentioned to be made, in pursuance of an Award made by the King's Majesty, for composing the Differences between John Lord Marquis of Winchester, and his eldest Son Charles Lord St. John.

Ordered, That the Lord Bruce do carry up this Bill to the Lords for their Concurrence.

Privilege.

Ordered, That Mr. John Eyres, an Attorney, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, or his Deputy, for his Breach of Privilege in signing a Judgment in an Action of Account, and a Default in an Action of the Case, about the Two-andtwentieth of this present May, at the Suit of one Cony, against Sir John Shaw, a Member of this House.

Advancement of Trade.

Sir George Downing reports from the Committee to which the Bill for Advancement of Trade was committed, several Amendments to be made to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And . . . were read the First time.

The several Amendments, precedent unto the Amendment to the Thirteenth Line of the Seventh Folio, were read the Second time; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

The Amendment to the Thirteenth Line of the Seventh Folio, being to omit the Words "out of Ireland," was read the Second time.

The Question being put, To agree with the Committee in this Amendment;

The House was divided.

And so it was resolved in the Affirmative.

The next Amendment to the Fourteenth Line of the Seventh Folio, being to leave out the Word "June," and insert the Word "July," was read the Second time; and debated:

Resolved, &c. That the Question debated, for agreeing with the Committee in the said Amendment, be divided as to the Consideration of distinct Times for the Bringing in of Irish Cattle, and the Bringing in of Scotch Cattle.

Resolved, &c. That the Time for Importing of Cattle, of the Breed of Ireland, shall be till the First of July.

Resolved, &c. That the Time for Importing of Cattle, of the Breed of Scotland, shall be till the Twenty-fourth of August.

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to Sir Geo. Downing, Mr. Clifford, Sir Edw. Walpoole, Colonel Strangwayes, Sir Tho. Littleton, Sir Edm. Pooley, Sir Wm. Doyley, or any Three of them, to prepare and bring in a Clause to be added to the said Bill, upon these Votes.

Resolved, &c. That the further Debate upon the Report of the said Bill and Amendments, be adjourned till Saturday next.

Ld. Strangford's Estate.

Ordered, That Mr. Bulteele be added to the Committee to which the Lord Strangford's Bill is committed.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Colonel Whitley and Mr. Culleford have the Leave of this House to go into the Country.

And then the House adjourned till Saturday Morning next, Eight of the Clock.
