Bedford, &c. Roads.
A Bill for repairing and maintaining the Highways in
the Counties of Bedford, Bucks, Northampton, and Warwick, was this Day read the First time.
The Question being put, That the Bill be read a
Second time;
It passed in the Negative.
Highway Laws.
Ordered, That the Committee to which the Matter
concerning the Highways was referred, do take Consideration of the Continuance of the Act for raising Sixpence in the Pound towards the Amending of the Highways; and also do consider of the Non-observance of the
late Act concerning Highways, in relation to Waggons;
and how the Inconveniences arising by Waggons may be
and of any other Expedients they shall find necessary for
the better repairing and maintaining the Highways.
