Epworth, &c. Commons.
A BILL for settling the Commonable Grounds of
Epworth and Gringley was read the First time.
Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be read the Second
time on Monday next.
Darwin, &c. Navigation.
Ordered, That the Bill for making navigable the River
of Darwin, and other Rivers, in the Counties of Derby,
Nottingham, Warwick, Stafford, and Leicester, be read
To-morrow Morning.
Ways and Means.
Mr. Serjeant Charlton reports from the Committee to
which the Matter was re-committed, to make an Abstract
and Estimate of the Rates of the Four hundred thousand
Pounds Subsidy, the several Ship Rates, That of the
Twelve hundred and Sixty thousand Pounds, and that of
the Four last Subsidies, That the Committee had met,
and agreed an Abstract and Estimate of the said several
Rates: Which he delivered in at the Clerk's Table, in
Writing: Which was read.
Resolved, &c. That the House be resolved into a Committee of the whole House: And that the Committee of
the whole House do proceed in the Debate of the Abstract of the several Rates reported to the House, in the
Order they are stated; having reference to the Votes of
the House in relation to the Sum of Twenty-five hundred
thousand Pounds, and the Time limited for the Raising
thereof.
And the House did accordingly resolved into a Committee of the whole House.
Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Sir Robert Atkyns took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker again took the Chair.
Sir Robert Atkyns reports from the Committee of the
whole House, That the Committee did desire, that the
House would resolve into a Committee of the whole
House, To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock, to
proceed in the Consideration of the raising the Twentyfive hundred thousand Pounds, according to the Votes
of the House.
Resolved, &c. That the House be resolved into a
Committee of the whole House, To-morrow Morning at
Ten of the Clock, to proceed in the Consideration of
the raising the Twenty-five hundred thousand Pounds,
according to the Votes of the House.
And then the House adjourned till To-morrow
Morning, Eight of the Clock.
