Prayers.

Petit Treason, Murder, &c.

A BILL for the better Tryal and Conviction of such Persons as shall be indicted for Petit Treason, Murders, and Felony, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time on Thursday next.

Lords desire a Conference.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir William Child and Sir Nathaniel Hobart;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords desire a present Conference with this House in the Astronomy School, upon Occasion of a Message they have received from his Majesty this Morning.

The Messengers being again called in; Mr. Speaker acquaints them, That the House had agreed to a present Conference with the Lords, in the Astronomy School.

Ordered, That Mr. Solicitor General, Sir Job Charleton, Mr. Waller, Mr. Pryn, Sir Robert Atkins, and Mr. Milward, do manage the Conference with the Lords.

Message to attend the King.

Mr. Solicitor reports from the Lords, That the Effect of the Conference was, to impart a Message, which they had received from his Majesty, for both Houses to attend him at Christ Church, To-morrow Morning at Nine of the Clock.

Writs to be issued.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for Election of a Burgess to serve for the Borough of Stamford in the County of Lincolne, in the room of Mr. William Stafford, deceased.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for Election of a Knight to serve for the County of Hertford, in the room of the Lord Fanshaw, deceased.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for Election of a Knight to serve for the County of Derby, in the room of Lord Fretzvile, he being called up to the House of Peers.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for Election of a Burgess to serve for the Borough of Killington in the County of Cornewall, in the room of the Lord Arlington, he being called up to the House of Peers.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for Election of a Burgess to serve for the Borough of Helston in the County of Cornewall, in the room of Thomas Robinson Esquire, deceased.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for Election of a Burgess to serve for the Town of Montgomery in the County of Montgomery, in the room of Mr. John Purcell, deceased.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for Election of a Baron to serve for the Cinque Port of Rumney, in the room of the Lord Fitzharding, deceased.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for Election of a Baron to serve for the Cinque Port of Sandwich, in the room of Mr. Edward Mountague, deceased.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
