Leave of Absence.
ORDERED, That Sir Thom. Proby, Mr. Peregrine
Bartue, Mr. Herbert, Mr. Cheyne, Sir Thom. Dyke,
Sir John Barrington, Dr. Arras, Sir John Cotton, Sir
Thom. Higgons, and Mr. Lovelace, have Leave to go into
the Country for Ten Days; and then to return, to attend
the Service of the House.
Privilege.
Ordered, That John Gunter be sent for in Custody of
the Serjeant at Arms, for his Breach of Privilege, in
causing Mr. John Lloyd, being a Servant to Sir Wm.
Lewis, a Member of this House, to be served with a
Process of Subpæna; and his taking out an Injunction
against Sir Wm. Lewis and the said John Lloyd, and
serving him therewithal.
Publick Accompts.
Sir Wm. Lowther reports, That the Committee for Inspecting of Accompts did meet Yesterday; and, finding
the Business very intricate, thought it necessary to make
Sub Committees, to prepare and facilitate some Matters
in relation to the Accompts.
Ordered, That Leave be given to the Committee
appointed to inspect the publick Accompts, to name
Sub Committees; with such Directions as they shall find
necessary.
Coinage.
A Bill for increasing the Stock of Money in the Kingdom was read.
Ordered, That this Bill be read again on Tuesday
next.
Relief of London.
The House then resumed the Debate touching the City
of London.
Resolved, &c. That the humble Thanks of this House be
given to his Majesty, for his great Care and Endeavour to
prevent the Burning of the City of London.
Ordered, That the House be adjourned till Monday
Morning.
