Fish Spawn.

A BILL to preserve the Fry and Spawn of Fish in fresh Rivers was read.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time on Monday next.

Statute Laws.

Resolved, &c. That a Committee be appointed to confor with such of the Lords, the Judges, and other Persons of the Long Robe, who have already taken Pains, and made Progress, in perusing the Statute Laws; and to consider of repealing such former Statute Laws as they shall find necessary to be repealed; and of Expedients of reducing all Statute Laws of one Nature, under such a Method and Head as may conduce to the more ready Understanding, and better Execution, of such Laws: And that it be referred to Sir Wm. Lewis, Sir Robert Atkins, Serjeant Mainard, Colonel Strangwaies, Mr. Mountague, Sir Charles Harbord, Sir Lanc. Lake, Mr. Milward, Sir Solom. Swale, Sir Thom. Gower, Mr. Pepis, Sir Wm. Lowther, Mr. Solicitor General, Mr. Street, Mr. Crouch, Mr. Coleman, Sir John Brampston. Sir Thom. Allen, Sir Thom. Littleton, Mr. Prynn, Mr. Mallet, and all the Members of this House that are of the Long Robe; or any Five of them: And they are to meet at Two of the Clock on Saturday next, in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber; and to sit de die in diem. And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Importing Cattle, &c.

Mr. Edw. Seymour reports from the Committee to which the Bill against importing of foreign Cattle .... some Amendments, agreed by the Committee to be made to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

And the Two first Amendments being twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to;

The Third Amendment being read the Second time; and debated;

The Question being put, That the Bill be re-committed, upon the present Debate;

The House was divided.
