ORDERED, That the Committee apointed to inquire
into the Causes of the late Fire be revived; and do
sit To-morrow at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon:
And that Mr. Pepis, Mr. Marvell, and Mr. Onslow, be
added to the Committee.
Lyndsey Level.
A Bill for settling the Level of the Fens, called Lyndsey
Level, was tendered, and received.
Ordered, That the Bill for settling Lindsey Level be
read on this Day Sevennight, if the publick Business will
permit.
Privilege.
A Petition of James Northfolke Esquire, Serjeant at
Arms attending this House, was read.
Ordered, That the Petition be referred to the Committee of Privileges and Elections; to examine the Matter;
and to report it to the House: And that all further Proceedings at Law, upon the Verdict obtained by John
Symball against Mr. Northfolke, be stayed.
Committee of Grievances.
Ordered, That the Committee of Grievances have
Leave to sit on Friday in the Afternoon.
De Leure's Petition.
A Petition of Anthony de Leure was read.
Ordered, That the Petition of Anthony de Leure be
referred to the Committee appointed for preventing the
Insolency of Papists; to examine the Matter: and report
it, with their Opinions, to the House.
Poll Bill.
The House then resolved into a Committee of the
whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of
the Poll Bill.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Justinian Isham and
Sir Moundeford Brampston;
Mr. Speaker, The Lords desire a present Conference
with this House, upon the Message of this House of the
Ninth of November instant, touching Accompts.
The Messengers being called in; Mr. Speaker acquaints
them, That the House had agreed to a present Conference.
Resolved, &c. That Mr. Solicitor, Sir Solom. Swale,
Mr. Seymour, Lord Allington, Colonel Sandys, Sir Thomas
Littleton, Sir Thomas Meeres, Sir Job Charlton, Mr. Garraway, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir Robert Howard, Sir John
Holland, do attend the Conference.
Mr. Solicitor reports from the Conference, That they
had attended the Lords: And that the Lord * did manage the Conference: And that the Matter thereof, being
reduced into Writing, was read at the Conference; and
afterwards delivered to him: Which he read in his Place;
and after delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table:
Which, being there also read, is as followeth:
This Conference is desired, to continue that good
Correspondence between the Houses that hath been since
the Beginning of this Sessions.
That, as to the Matter of their Desire, expressed in a
Message of the Ninth of this Month, concerning the
Examination of Accompts, upon Oath, the Lords are
willing and ready to agree with them: But, as to the
Manner proposed unto them, they do not find it warranted by the Course of Parliament, That any Committee of Lords and Commons, upon any Occasion, have
had Power given to examine upon Oath.
Resolved, &c. That the Matter of the Conference now
had with the Lords, upon the Message of this House,
touching Accompts, be taken into Consideration on
Saturday Morning next, Nine of the Clock.
Poll Bill.
The House resolved into a Committee of the whole

proceed in the further Consideration of the Poll Bill.
