Prayers.
Parliament meets.
HIS Majesty having, on the Eighth Day of February
last, prorogued the Parliament unto the Tenth Day
of October, next ensuing; and being advised, That the
weighty Affairs of the Kingdom might require a sooner
Day of their Meeting; his Majesty therefore, by his Proclamation, having summoned them to meet on this Day;
And the House being accordingly met; Mr. Speaker
informs them, That his Majesty had commanded him to
let them know, That, conceiving the House might not
be full at the first Meeting, he had deferred his Coming
to acquaint them with what he had to say, till Monday
next: And that the House should adjourn till that Day.
Disbanding the Forces.
Resolved, upon the Question, Nemine contradicente,
That his Majesty be humbly desired, by such Members
of this House as are of his Privy Council, That, when
a Peace is concluded, the new-raised Forces be disbanded.
Resolved, upon the Question, That the House be
adjourned until Monday Morning next.
