FREDERICK Storr did this Day take the Oaths of
Allegiance and Supremacy, before the Speaker, at
the Clerk's Table, in order to his Naturalization.
Trade with Scotland.
Ordered, That Sir Henry Capell, and all the Members
that serve for the Counties of Westmorland, Cumberland,
Northumberland, Yorkshire, and all Members that serve
for any Port Towns, be added to the Committee for
settling the Trade between England and Scotland; and
that the Committee be revived, and do sit this Afternoon.

Ordered, That all Committees which were discontinued, be revived, and do sit this Afternoon, in the
Places formerly appointed.
Cambridge Pest-houses.
Ordered, That the Lord Georges, and Sir Gilbert Talbott, be added to the Committee to which the Bill
touching Pest-houses at Cambridge, is committed.
Escapes from London Sheriffs.
A Bill to indemnify the late Sheriffs of London, and
others, touching Escapes of Prisoners, and other Matters
occasioned by the late Fire, was read the Second time.

Milford Haven Light-house.
A Complaint being made to the House, of a Grievance
on the People, by exacting an illegal Tax for maintaining
a pretended Light-house at Millford Haven, by colour
of some Grant from his Majesty;
Ordered, That this Matter be referred to the Committee of Grievances, to examine at their Meeting on
Wednesday next; and that the Patent concerning this
pretended Tax be then produced: And the Committee
are impowered to send for Persons, Papers and Records.
Bedford Level.
A Bill for assessing the Taxes of certain Fen Lands
in Bedford Level, was reported by the Lord Ancram; -
that the Committee had only altered the name of one
Place: Which being read, and agreed,
Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with this Amendment,
be ingrossed.
Sandys' Petition.
Ordered, That the Petition of Colonel Sandys be referred to the former Committee; who are hereby revived.

A Petition of the Farmers of the Duty of Excise,
payable to his Majesty in London, Middlesex, and Surry,
was read.
The Question being put, That this Petition should be
referred to a Committee;
It passed in the Negative.
Miscarriages of the War.
Mr. Secretary Morrice reports, that in Obedience to
the Orders of this House, he had searched, and found
out such Papers and Letters, as he had, relating to the
Miscarriage of the late War.
Ordered, That Mr. Secretary Morris do cause the
Letters to be delivered in to the Chairman of the Committee appointed to examine the Miscarriages of the
late War.
State of Trade.
Resolved, That a Committee be appointed to consider
whether the Rates on English Commodities are not enhanced, and wherein, and how much; and also of an
Advance of Rates to be imposed on Goods and Wares
imported from Foreign Parts, to recompence that Damage; and how the Ballance of Trade may be made
even; and how to improve the Exportation of our Home
Commodities: Also, to consider of a Way to encourage
the planting and sowing of Hemp and Flax; and to discourage the wearing and using of Foreign Commodities;
and how to prevent the Exportation of Wool in Foreign
Parts: As also, to inquire whether there be any Abuses
committed in dispensing with the Penalties imposed upon
the Offences in the Exportation of Wool; and whether
there be any Patent extant concerning this Matter: If
any such be, that the same be brought in to this Committee: Who are also to consider, whether there be any
Foreign Imposition laid on our Shipping, and how it may
be remedied: And also, to prepare an Address to be presented to his Majesty, to encourage the Wearing and Use
of our Native and Home Commodities; and to prevent
the Inconveniences by the excessive Consumption of
Foreign Commodities: And to report the Matter, with
their Opinions therein, to the House; viz. Sir John
