Church Leases.
ORDERED, That the Bill concerning Church
Leases, which was now tendered and received, be
read To-morrow Morning.
Lyn Writ.
Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to
the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ for electing
a new Member to serve for the Town of Lyn in the stead
of Sir Edward Wallpoole, deceased.
Privilege.
Ordered, That the Matter of Breach of Privilege complained, on the Behalf of Sir Jonathan Trelawny, a Member of this House, to be committed by Simon Martin and
others, in driving and impounding the Cattle of the said
Sir Jonathan, be referred to the Committee of Privileges; to examine the Matter, and report it, with their
Opinions, to the House.
Electing Members for Durham.
An ingrossed Bill to enable the County Palatine of
Durham to send two Knights to serve for the County,
and Two Citizens to serve for the City of Durham, in
Parliament, was read.
A Proviso concerning the Manor of Creet, in the said
County, was read Three times; and some Amendments
agreed at the Table.
Resolved, That the Proviso be made Part of the Bill.
The Question being put, That the Bill do pass;

Encouraging Navigation.
A Bill on the Behalf of Dr. Peter Chamberlaine, to improve the Art of Navigation, was read the First time.

Act concerning Butter.
Resolved, &c. That a Committee be appointed to peruse the Act concerning the Packing and Trying of Butter;
and see if the Act be defective, and wherein: And whether there have been any Exactions and Abuses committed,
contrary to the said Act: And it is referred to Mr. Cooke,
Sir Robert Carr, Sir Cecill Bishopp, Lord Richardson, Sir
James Thyn, Sir Walter Young, Mr. Morice, Mr. Millward, Sir John Rouse, Sir Anth. Irby, Mr. King, Sir Hen.
Yelverton, Sir Thomas Meres, and all the Members that
serve for the several Counties of Northfolke, Suffolke, Lincolne, and Yorkesheere; or any Five of them: and they
are to meet To-morrow at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to summon and
hear such Persons as they shall find necessary: And to send
for Persons, Papers, and Records: and to report the
Matter, with their Opinions therein, to the House.
Affairs of Ireland.
Sir Allen Brodrick delivers in a Paper, concerning the
Affairs of Ireland.
Ordered, That Sir Winston Churchill and Sir Allen Brodrick have the Leave of this House to go for Ireland, to
attend their Charge there.
Hearthmoney Tax.
Ordered, That the Report of the Chimney Bill be
heard To-morrow Morning.
Miscarriages of the War.
Resolved, &c. That the Committee for Miscarriages
be revived; and do inquire particularly into any Miscarriage in which the Officers of the Fleet may be concerned; and whether Sir John Harman be returned; and
if not, the Reason why he is not: And that the Committee do sit this Afternoon.
Supply- Poll Bill.
The House then resolved into a Committee of the
whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of
his Majesty's Supply by a Poll.
Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Speaker resumes the Chair.
Mr. Steward reports from the said Committee, that
they had made some further Progress in the Matter concerning his Majesty's Supply; and, in order to the Poll
Bill, they came to this Resolution; viz.
That Titles in this Poll Bill be taxed at a Moiety of
what they were charged in the last Poll Bill, as to all
Persons of the Laity.
That Children under the Age of Sixteen Years shall
not be liable to be charged by this Bill.
Resolved, &c. That the House doth agree with the
Committee, that Titles in this Poll Bill be taxed at a
Moiety at what they were charged in the last Poll Bill,
as to all Persons of the Laity.
Resolved, &c. That the Consideration of the latter Part
of the Report be postponed till the rest of the Heads for
the Bill be resolved upon.
Leave of Absence.
Ordered, That Sir Fretchvile Hollis have the Leave
of this House to go into the Country for a Week.
Dover Pier.
Ordered, That the Committee concerning Dover Pier
be revived; and do sit this Afternoon.
