A BILL for regulating of Juries was read the Second
Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Sir Solom.
Swale, Sir Jo. Morton, Sir Jo. Knight, Sir Thom. Lee, Sir
Jo. Northcut, Sir Edm. Windham, Col. Kirkby, Sir Wm.
Lowther, Sir Phil. Musgrave, Sir Thom. Allen, Sir Job
Charlten, Mr. Hungerford, Sir Wm. Doyley, Lord Ancram, Mr. Collins, Mr. Ratchliffe, Sir Gilbert Talbott, Sir
Jo. Mainard, Mr. Otway, Mr. Pepis, Mr. Buscawen, Sir
Jo. Talbot, Mr. Crouch, Sir Geo. Reeve, Sir Walter Young,
and all the Gentlemen of the Long Robe: And they
are to meet on Monday next at Two of the Clock in
the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to take
into Consideration the Debate of the House in relation
to Abuses, in granting Writs intended to excuse ancient
Jurors to Persons able to serve; and to see how substantial Copyholders and Leaseholders may be made subject
to serve on Juries, as well as Freeholders.
Ordered, That the Committee appointed to take the
Accounts of publick Monies be sent to, by Sir Thom.
Thompkins, and Mr. Pleydall, to give in an Account and
Report of their Proceedings to the House, on Monday
Publick Bills depending last Session.
Ordered, That a Committee be appointed to peruse
what publick Bills were depending last Sessions; and
report to the House, which of them are most necessary
to be passed: And that it be referred to Mr. Crouch, Sir
Wm. Kellegrew, Sir Wm. Doyley, Mr. Pepis, Sir Walter
Young, Sir Thom. Lee, Sir Edm. Windham, Sir John
Talbott, Sir Jo. Knight, Sir Jona. Trelawny, Sir Gilbert
Talbott, Mr. Coleman, Col. Kirkby, Sir Richard Franklyn,
Mr. Ratcliffe, Sir Phil. Musgrave, Sir Gilbert Gerrard,
Mr. Musgrave, Sir Job Charlton, Sir John Lowther, Sir
Jo. Moreton, Sir Jo. Dawney; or any Three of them:
And they are to meet To-morrow at Two of the Clock
in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to
consider what temporary Acts are expired, and what are
fit to be revived and continued.
And then the House adjourned till To-morrow
