Prayers.

Yarmouth Pier.

ORDERED, That Sir John Norton, Sir Jo. Birkenhead, Sir Clifford Clifton, Mr. Collins, and the Members that serve for the Counties of Northfolke and Suffolke, be added to the Committee to which the Bill for repairing and maintaining Yarmouth Pier, was committed.

Skelton's, &c. Nat.

Sir Wm. Coventry reports from the Committee to which the Bill for Naturalization was committed, some Amendments to be made to the said Bill: Which were twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be ingrossed; with Liberty for such Persons as shall bring Certificates for their receiving the Sacrament, before Saturday Morning, to be inserted into the Bill.

Taking Affidavits in the Country.

A Bill for taking Affidavits in the Country, to be made use of in the Exchequer, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Sir Solom. Swale, Sir John Knight, Sir Fran. Goodrick, Mr. Steward, Serj. Mainard, Sir Jo. Frederick, Sir Jo. Birkinhead, Lord Richardson, Sir Robert Atkins, Sir Anth. Irby, Sir Thom. Allen, Sir Thom. Gower, Sir Jo. Ernley, Sir Wm. Coventry, Sir Jo. Northcote, Sir John Brampston, Sir Nico. Cary, Sir Nico. Slaning, Mr. Seymour, Mr. Milward, Sir. Jo. Coryton, Sir Hen. Herbert, Sir Jo. Talbott, Mr. Crouch, Col. Milward; and all the Gentlemen of the Long Robe: And they are to meet To- morrow at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Beckham's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill for Sale of Lands for Payment of the Debts, and making Provision for the younger Children of John Beckham Esquire, was read.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And the Title shall be, An Act for Sale of Lands for Payment of the Debts, and making Provision for the younger Children of John Beckham Esquire.

Tamworth Election.

A Petition of Charles Lord Clifford was read; complaining of an undue Return of John Ferrers Esquire; to serve for the Town of Tamworth.

Ordered, That this Petition be referred to the Committee of Elections, to take into Consideration the Second Day of their Meeting after the Recess; and to examine and report the Matter, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Supply.

The House resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of his Majesty's Supply.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Sir Robert Atkins took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Robert Atkins reports from the said Committee, That they had made some further Progress in the Consideration of his Majesty's Supply; and came to this Resolution; viz.

That Eight Pounds the Tun upon French Wines, and Twelve Pounds upon Spanish Wines, shall be the Proportion laid upon those Wines; and Nine Pounds a Tun be laid upon Rhenish Wines.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Committee, that Eight Pounds per Tun upon French Wine, and Twelve Pounds upon Spanish Wines, shall be the Proportion laid upon these Wines: And that Nine Pounds the Tun be laid upon Rhenish Wine.

Resolved, That the House will resolve into a Committee of the whole House on Saturday Morning next, to proceed in the further Consideration of his Majesty's Supply.

Publick Accounts.

The Commissioners for taking the Publick Accounts being at the Door, attending this House, according to the Order of the Sixth Instant;

Ordered, That the said Commissioners be desired to attend this House on Saturday Morning next.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
