Prayers.

Mr. Speaker attends the King.

Mr. Speaker acquaints the House, that he was commanded by his Majesty to attend him at Whitehall, in his Passage to the House; and that his Majesty declared, he would send this Morning to the House, concerning their Adjournment.

Answer concerning Lord Orrery.

Mr. Secretary Trevor acquaints the House, that he had attended his Majesty, with the Desire of this House in the Matter concerning the Lord Orrery; and that his Majesty would please to give Order, that such Witnesses which could testify in that Matter, should have Liberty to come over out of Ireland.

Thanks for Answer.

Ordered, That the humble Thanks of this House be returned to his Majesty, by such Members of this House as are of his Privy Council, for his Majesty's gracious Message in the Matter relating to the Lord Orrery.

Parliament prorogued.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir John Eyton, Usher of the Black Rod;

Mr. Speaker,

The Lords, authorized by Commission from his Majesty, desire the Attendance of this honourable House forthwith, in the House of Peers.

And accordingly Mr. Speaker, with the House, went up to the House of Lords: Where his Majesty's Commission was read; and the House prorogued from this Day to the Fourteenth Day of February next.
