Davison's Estate.

A BIL for the Sale of Lands to pay Debts, and provide a Maintenance for Thomas Davison and his Family, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time.

Lady Lee's Estate.

A Bill for settling the Differences between the Lady Eliz. Lee, and the Daughters and Coheirs of Sir Thomas Pope, late Earl of Downe, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Sir Thomas Lee, Sir Lanc. Lake, Mr. Neale, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir Jo. Goodrick, Lord Ancram Mr. Clarke, Lord Fanshaw, Sir Solom. Privilege.

Information being given to this House, of a Breach of Privilege committed against Mr. Graham, a Member of this House, by one Samuell Sweeting, in bringing an Action and Declaring at Law, against Abraham Cliffins, Tenant to the said Mr. Graham, for Tythes of certain Lands, in which the Title of Mr. Graham is concerned;

Ordered, That all Proceedings in the said Suit be stayed, during the Sessions of Parliament.

Supply.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to take into further Consideration the Manner and Proportion of his Majesty's Supply.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Sir Robert Atkins took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Robert Atkins reports from the said Committee, that, in the further Consideration of the Manner and Proportion of his Majesty's Supply, they came to these Resolutions; viz.

That the Duty of all Wine imported to be sold, be paid by the first Buyer:

That the Duty of all other Wine to be imported, shall be paid by the Importer:

That the Moiety of the Rates of the last Imposition on Wines be the Rate for this Duty:

That the Duty be paid to his Majesty for Seven Years, from Midsummer next.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Committee, that the Duty of all Wine imported to be sold, be paid by the first Buyer:

That the Duty of all other Wine to be imported shall be paid by the Importer:

That the Moiety of the Rates of the last Imposition on Wines be the Rate for this Duty:

That the Duty be paid to his Majesty for Seven Years, from Midsummer next.

Ordered, That Mr. Solicitor General do prepare and bring in a Bill for his Majesty's Supply upon these Heads.

And then the House adjourned till Monday Morning, Eight of the Clock.
