Prayers.

Lindsey Level.

ORDERED, That all such Members as serve for the Counties of Cornwall, Devon, Somersett, Dorsett, and Wilts, for Yorke, Lancaster, Lincolne, and Huntington, be added to the Committee to which the Bill concerning Lindsey Level, is committed.

Repairing Churches.

A Bill for Repair of Churches, was read the First time.

Ordered, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Sir Thomas Tomkins have Leave to go into the Country, for Recovery of his Health.

Deeping Fenn.

Ordered, That the Bill concerning Deeping Fenn, be read the First Bill To-morrow Morning.

Gostwicke's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill for enabling of Sir Wm. Gostwicke Knight to make a Jointure to Dame Mary his Wife, was read.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And the Title shall be, An Act for enabling of Sir Wm. Gostwicke Knight to make a Jointure to Dame Mary his Wife.

Cloth stealing.

Another ingrossed Bill for taking away the Benefit of Clergy from such as steal Cloth from the Rack; and from such as shall steal or imbezzle his Majesty's Ammunition.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And the Title shall be, An Act for taking away the Benefit of the Clergy from such as steal Cloth from the Rack; and from such as shall steal or imbezzle his Majesty's Ammunition or Stores.

And Sir Wm. Beecher is to carry up the Two Bills to the Lords.

Message from Lords; Union with Scotland.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Wm. Child and Sir Thomas Estcourt;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have sent you down a Vote concerning the Union between England and Scotland: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Which Vote was read; and is as followeth; viz.

"Resolved, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, in Parliament assembled, That his Majesty be humbly desired to name Commissioners for the Kingdom of England, who may be authorized by Act of Parliament to treat with Commissioners to be appointed by his Majesty for the Kingdom of Scotland, about the Grounds of an Union between the Two Kingdoms: Reserving always to his Majesty, and his Two Houses of Parliament (to whom the Resolution of these Commissioners is to be returned) the intire Consideration of the Whole, and the allowing or disallowing thereof, or any Part thereof, as they shall see fit.

Falmouth Key.

Ordered, That the Bill for making a Key for Shipping within Falmouth Harbour, be read To-morrow Morning.

Privilege Jurisdiction of Lords.

Resolved, That a Message be sent to the Lords, to acquaint them, that this House hath received Information, that there is an Appeal depending before them, at the Suit of Mr. Henry Slingesby, against Mr. William Hale, a Member of this House; which is appointed to be taken into Consideration To-morrow: And to desire the Lords to have Regard to the Privileges of this House therein.

Wharton Estate.

Ordered, That Dr. Wharton's Bill be read To-morrow Morning.

Cornwall navigable Rivers.

Ordered, That the Bill for making the Rivers navigable in Cornwall, be read To-morrow Morning.

Regulating Jurors.

Ordered, That the Bill for Jurors, be read To-morrow Morning.

Repairing Highways.

Ordered, That the Bill for Highways, be read Tomorrow Morning.

Supply Bill; Wine Duties.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration on the Bill for his Majesty's Supply.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Robert Atkins took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Robert Atkins reports, That the Committee had made some further Progress in the Bill: And humbly moved, from the said Committee, that the House would resolve into a Committee of the whole House upon the said Bill, on Monday Morning next.

Resolved, That this House doth agree with the Committee, that the House resolve into a Committee of the whole House on Monday Morning next, to proceed in the further Consideration of the Bill for his Majesty's Supply.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
