Sabbati, 18 die Februarii, 1670.

Prayers.

Privilege.

INFORMATION being given of a Breach of Privilege, committed against the Lord Vaughan, in serving Henry Davis, his menial Servant, with a Subpæna, to appear in the Court of Chancery, at the Suit of one Zacharias Thomas;

Ordered, That all further Prosecution and Proceeding in the said Suit be stayed, during the Session of Parliament, and Time of Privilege.

Corn and Salt Measures.

An ingrossed Bill for ascertaining the Measures of Corn and Salt, was read.

A Proviso, on the Behalf of such as have a Right to Rent Corn, was twice read; and, with some Alterations made at the Table, upon the Question, agreed; and read a Third time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An additional Act for ascertaining the Measures of Corn and Salt.

Supply Bill; Subsidies.

The ingrossed Bill of Subsidies, was read: And several Amendments thereto were agreed and made at the Table.

A Proviso, for taxing Places privileged, was thrice read; and agreed to be made Part of the Bill.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for granting a Subsidy to his Majesty, for Supply of his extraordinary Occasions: And that Mr. Seymour do carry up the Bill to the Lords.

Supply Bill; Beer and Ale.

Ordered, That the Bill for an additional Excise upon Beer and Ale be read on Monday Morning.

Lindsey Level.

Ordered, That the Cause concerning Lindsey Level be heard on Tuesday Morning next, the first Business; and nothing to intervene.

Preventing Growth of Popery.

Ordered, That the Report from the Committee appointed to enquire into the Causes of the Growth of Popery, be heard on Monday Morning.

Indigent Officers.

Ordered, That all that do come, shall have Voices . . . . to which the Bill on the Behalf of the indigent loyal Officers, was committed.

And then the House adjourned till Monday Morning, Eight of the Clock.
