Prayers.

Adulteration of Wines.

ORDERED, That the Committee for Essay of Wines be revived; and do sit on Monday next.

Conventicles.

Ordered, That the Committee for the Bill against Conventicles, and all other Committees which were discontinued, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon.

Privilege.

Upon Information given to the House, of a Breach of Privilege committed against Mr. Musgrave, a Member of this House, by causing an Outlawry to be prosecuted against Henry Lister, who is employed by Mr. Musgrave, in the managing of his Estate, and receiving his Rents;

Ordered, That all further Proceedings and Prosecution upon the said Outlawry be staid, during this Session, and Privilege of Parliament.

Privilege.

Serjeant Charlton reports from the Committee of Privileges, the State of the Case in point of Privilege between Mr. Charles Cornwallis, a Member of this House, and Mr. Digby, in relation to the Suit depending in the Court of Chancery; and the Opinion of the Committee thereupon, That the Interest of Mr. Cornwallis is so far concerned in that Suit, That he ought to have his Privilege; and all Proceedings in the Suit be staid.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Committee, That Mr. Cornwallis ought to have his Privilege; and that all Proceedings in the Court of Chancery between him and Mr. Digby and others, be staid during the Session, and Privilege of Parliament.

Privilege- assault of a Member.

Whereas Complaint hath been made to this House of a Breach of Privilege, committed by John Knight, now Mayor of Bristol, against Sir John Knight, a Member of this House, by assaulting and throwing him down in the Street, when he was in the Execution of his Office as a Justice of the Peace; and by arresting one Richard Hyet, who did assist the said Sir John Knight; it is this Day further Ordered, That all Proceedings at Law, in the Action brought by the said John Knight, against the said Hyet, be staid during this Session, and Privilege of Parliament.

Haughton's Estate.

Ordered, That the Motion of Sir Charles Harbord be heard on Monday Morning.

Manufacture for benefiting Shipping.

Amendments, and a Proviso, sent from the Lords, to the Bill on the Behalf of Sir Phil. Howard, and Francis Watson, were twice read; upon the Question, agreed; and read a Third time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed, be inserted in the Bill; and the Bill returned to the Lords.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Ellyot have the Leave of this House to go into the Country, to follow his Law Suits at the Assizes.

Haslington Parish.

Ordered, That the Bill, from the Lords, for the erecting of the Manor or Lordship of Haslington, in the County of Chester, into a Parish, be read on Monday Morning.

Supply Bill; Beer and Ale.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, upon the additional Bill of Excise on Beer, Ale, and other Liquors, towards his Majesty's Supply.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Seymour took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Seymour reports from the said Committee, that they had made some further Progress in the said Bill; and humbly moved, from the said Committee, That the House would resolve into a Committee of the whole House again on Monday Morning next, Ten of the Clock, to proceed in the Consideration of the Bill of Excise on Beer, Ale, and other Liquors.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Committee, That the House do resolve into a Committee of the whole House again on Monday Morning next, Ten of the Clock, to proceed in the Consideration of the additional Bill of Excise on Beer, Ale, and other Liquors, towards his Majesty's Supply.

And then the House adjourned till Monday Morning, Eight of the Clock.
