Chudleigh Rectory.
SIR Robert Howard reports from the Committee,
to which the Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled,
An Act for the Settlement of the Rectory of Chudleigh
in the County of Devon, upon Thomas Lord Clifford,
and others, some Amendments agreed to be made to the
said Bill: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards
delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the
same being twice read, and agreed; and being, with the
Amendments, read a Third time:
Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be
returned to the Lords.
Bristoll Deanery Estate.
Sir John Knight reports from the Committee, to which
the Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable the Dean and Chapter of the Cathedral Church of
Bristoll, to exchange their Vicarage of Berkley in the
County of Gloucester, with George Lord Berkley, for
his Rectory of St. Michaell's in Sutton Bonington in the
County of Nottingham, without any Amendment:
Which was read a Third time; and passed.
Ordered, That Sir Robert Howard do return the Bills,
which are passed this House, back to the Lords.
Privilege- imprisonment of a Member.
Information being given to this House, that Mr. Jay,
a Member of this House, is detained a Prisoner in Execution at Norwich, at the Prosecution of one Mr. Folio;
and thereby disabled to attend the Service of this House;
Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of
Privileges, to examine the Matter, as concerning the
Privilege of Mr. Jay, a Member of this House, who is
detained Prisoner; and to report it, with their Opinions
therein, to the House.
Wickham, &c. Elections.
Ordered, That the Reports from the Committee of
Privileges, touching the Election for Wickham and
Wendover, be heard on Monday Morning next.
Supply Bill.
The House then proceeded upon the rest of the Amendments to the Bill for his Majesty's Supply: Which were
twice read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed.
A Proviso was tendered, to be added to the Bill; and
twice read; and agreed.
Resolved, &c. That the Bill for his Majesty's Supply,
with the Amendments, be ingrossed; and brought in on
Friday Morning next, at Ten of the Clock; and not
before.
And then the House adjourned till Monday
