MR. Secretary Coventry reports from the King, That
He had appointed the House to attend Him at
Three of the Clock this Afternoon, in the Banqueting
House at Whitehall, with the Address of Thanks.

Resolved, &c. That a Committee be appointed, to view
the Bills which were depending last Session; and see
which of them are useful; and represent such as are
most necessary, with their Opinions, to the House:
And it is referred to Mr. Crouch, Sir Wm. Coventry,
Sir Richard Foord, Sir Samuell Bernardiston, Mr. Powle,
Sir Richard Everrard, Sir James Smith, Sir Tho. Lee,
Sir Hen. Capell, Sir John Pettus, Sir John Birkenhead,
Sir Antho. Irby, Sir Geo. Reeves, Sir Wm. Doyley, Sir
John Lowther, Sir John Mallett, Mr. Sacheverall, Sir

Privilege-Detention of a Member.
Information being given to the House, that Sir John
Prettiman, a Member of this House, is detained Prisoner
in the Prison of the King's Bench;
Ordered, That the Marshal of the King's Bench do
bring Sir John Prettiman To-morrow Morning to this
House, together with the Cause of his being detained in
Prison, from the Attendance of this House.
A Bill for the Augmentation of small Vicarages, &c.
was read a Second time.
Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be committed to Sir

till To-morrow Morning, Ten of the Clock: And, that
the Keeper of the Records of the Tower do then attend
with the original Record.
