THEodore Hofstadt this Day took the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy at the Clerk's Table, in order to his Naturalization.

Fire in Southwarke.

A Bill to constitute a Judicature to determine Differences touching Houses burned down, and new Buildings erected in the room of them in Southwarke, was read.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time.

Lindsey Level.

A Bill for settling the Draining of Lindsey Level, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be committed to Sir Edm. Windham, Lord Castleton, Sir Robert Carr, Sir Lanc. Lake, Col. Sandys, Sir Richard Everard, Sir Wm. Windham, Sir Tho. Growth of Timber.

A Bill to preserve and increase the Growth of Timber Trees, was tendered.

Bermudas Company.

The House then, according to the Order Yesterday, took up the Consideration of the Petition of John Wyse, William White, Robert Stephens, and Perient Trott, Merchants, and Members of the Bermudas Company, on Behalf of themselves, and divers others of the said Company, and many of the Planters within the said Island; complaining, That some of the Members of the said Company have undertaken to make several arbitrary and illegal By-laws, contrary to their Charter; and put the same in Execution, to the great Grievance and Oppression of the Petitioners; was read.

And the Petitioners who subscribed the said Petition, being called in to the Bar of the House; and owning the Petition; and taking on them to make out the Contents of it;

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to Mr. Powle, Sir Wm. Terringham, Mr. Swinfen, Mr. Crowch, Sir Geo. Downing, Col. Byrch, Sir Nico. Slaning, Sir Sam. Barnardiston, Mr. Love, Mr. Marvell, Sir Cha.
