MARgaret Lowden, Hubert Vanckesteyn, and Peter Vigoroux, this Day took the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, at the Clerk's Table, in Order to their Naturalization.

Moreland's Pumps.

A Bill for allowing to Sir Samuel Moreland the Benefit of Pumps and Water Engines, by him invented, was read.

Resolved, That this Bill be read a Second time.

Irish Cattle.

Sir John Knight reports from the Committee appointed to consider of an explanatory Bill to prevent Frauds and Abuses in importing Irish Cattle, a Bill agreed by the Committee: Which he delivered in.

The said Additional Bill to prevent Frauds and Abuses in importing Irish Cattle, was read.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time after Ten of the Clock.

Northampton Minister.

Sir Charles Harbord reports from the Committee to which the Bill for settling a Maintenance for the Minister of the Parish of Alhallowes, in the Town of Northampton, was committed, several Amendments agreed by the Committee to be made to the Bill: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were again twice read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Exporting Leather.

Sir George Downing reports from the Committee to which the Bill for reviving and continuing an Act for Exportation of Leather, was committed, several Amendments agreed by the Committee to be made to the Bill: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were again twice read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

But a Debate arising upon some Clauses in the Bill;

And a Proviso being offered to be added to the Bill;

The Question being put, That the Bill be re-committed;

It passed in the Negative.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Alliance with Confederates.

A Motion being made for a further Address to his Majesty, to enter into a strict and speedy Alliance with the Confederates;

Resolved, &c. That the Debate of this Motion be adjourned till Monday Morning next, Ten of the Clock.

Educating Children of Royal Family.

A Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled, An Act for further securing the Protestant Religion, by Education of the Children of the Royal Family therein, and providing for the Continuance of a Protestant Clergy, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be read a Second time on this Day Sevennight.

Glocester Election.

Ordered, That the Case concerning the Election for the City of Glocester, which was appointed to be heard before the Committee of Elections and Privileges, on the Seven-and-twentieth Day of this Instant March, be put off until the Third Day of April next.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees, which were to sit this Afternoon, be adjourned.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
