Parliament further prorogued.
THE Parliament being, on the Twenty-ninth Day of August last prorogued until this Day; and his Majesty having, by his Royal Proclamation, signified his Pleasure, that there shall be a further Prorogation until the One-and-twentieth Day of this Instant, October;
And the House being met;
A Message was delivered by Sir Edward Carteret, Usher of the Black Rod;
Mr. Speaker.
The Lords, authorized by the King, desire the immediate Attendance of this House, in the House of Lords, to hear the King's Commission read.
And, accordingly, Mr. Speaker, with the House, went up to the House of Lords: Where the King's Commission for proroguing the Parliament being read; this Parliament was, in pursuance thereof, prorogued until the One-and-twentieth Day of this present October.
